加拿大財長宣布凍結失業保險保費三年 - 臺灣新浪網

加拿大財政部長費海提9日在渥太華宣布，在三年內將凍結僱主和僱員為失業保險 (EI)繳納的保費，以支持加拿大的中小型企業和加拿大人的工薪階層。
費海提說，我們能做到這一點是因為失業率下降，越來越多的人在工作，領取失業保險金的人數減少，因此，失業保險金項目正在重返預算平衡的軌道上，而且可能比預期的要早。
目前加拿大的僱員為失業保險支付的保費每人每年最高達891.12加元，僱主需要為每名僱員支付每年最高達1247.57加元的失業金保費。
