【陳智偉／綜合外電報導】美國勞工部公布截至9月7日當周初次請領失業救濟金人數僅29.2萬人，較前1周32.3萬人下降，不僅未如預期升至33萬人，反降至30萬人大關以下，創2006年4月以來新低。
 
儘管初領失業金人數下降一般代表就業情況好轉，但美國勞工部指出，此次下降主要由於2個州電腦升級，回報較少請領案件所致，未全然出於就業市場回溫。
